Refugee Support and Resettlement Team
Please help our Welcome Team support newly arrived-refugees! We help Refugee Services of Texas resettle newly-arrived refugees and start their new lives in North Texas. We furnish and set up their new apartments, stock their pantries, meet them at the airport and escort them to their new homes, where a warm “welcome meal” is waiting. We provide household and personal hygiene supplies, clothing, school supplies, books, toys and other necessities to ease their resettlement and support them in integrating and thriving in their new communities.
With your help, we can ease the difficult transition for refugee families far from home!
Here are some examples of what your donation could cover for these refugees:
$25 can help provide a 1-month supply of newborn diapers
$75 can help provide a portable playpen/crib with bassinet
$250 can help provide an initial stocking of pantry/fridge and welcome meals for a family
$500 can help provide a bunk bed with new mattresses for 3 children
Other: You can donate any amount of your chosing.
100% of donations are tax-deductible; 0% will be used for administration/overhead.
