Position Available: Events Coordinator

The DP&JC is looking for an events coordinator to work with our volunteers in organizing our events through the remainder of 2018. The various events will include: Sept dinner/presentation with Medea Benjamin, Giving Day Project, the Drone Quilt Exhibition, and the DP&JC annual awards banquet. There will be additional projects as identified by the board or chairs of the communications and fundraising committee.

There are numerous skills needed to fulfill the obligations of this contract.
They include, but are not limited to: good interpersonal communications skills, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Hubspot, Asana, NPGVAN Database, Trello, Nation Builder, Social Media, Flash Issue, teaching skills, research & report writing, public speaking, some Spanish language skills.

Application deadline is July 25. We would like to start the contract by Aug 1. The monthly compensation will be $1,000 and it is anticipated that the time commitment will be approximately 50 hrs per month.
