At a time when, according to the Doomsday Clock we're closer to nuclear annihilation than ever before, members of the Dallas Peace & Justice Center gathered outside Dallas' Cathedral Guadalupe on Ash Wednesday with signs, banners, and flyers to urge church-goers and passersby to honor the anti-war legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King.

Pope Francis, ahead of the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, called for a ceasefire and peace negotiations, saying that no victory could be "built on ruins."
