Monday, July 24th marks the 50th anniversary
of the murder of Santos Rodriguez
A number of events are being held to mark the 50th anniversary Santos' murder.
"Santos Vive" is airing on KERA-TV Channel 13 in Dallas:
- Monday, July 24, 09:00 pm on KERA
- Thursday, July 27, 02:00 am on KERA
- Sunday, July 30, 03:00 am on KERA
- Monday, July 31, 10:30 pm on KERA
Also on PBS stations in Austin and Amarillo on Monday, July 24th.
During September, for Hispanic Heritage Month, "Santos Vive" will be shown on all ten PBS stations in Texas reaching 29 million Texans.
From July 24th to Aug 31st, "Santos Vive" will be available for viewing on the WFAA+ App.
On Sunday, July 23rd at 2:00 pm, there will be a sneak preview screening of "Santos Vive" at the Texas Theater on Oak Cliff. Following the film, and with time permitting, a member of the DPJC Board will be speaking briefly about our involvement with this project.
Also on Sunday, July 23rd, there will be a march and memorial service for Santos at Pike Park following the movie screening.
